Celebrate Mardi Gras on the Gulf Coast

Mardi Gras FWB 2012

Have you recently moved into a long term rental home on the Gulf Coast? Then get ready to enjoy one of the biggest celebrations along our shores as Mardi Gras celebrations kick off in February!

You may have already been aware that Gulf Coast cities such as New Orleans, Mobile and even Pensacola host extravagant parties and parades, but the entire coast gets in on the action, too. This includes festivities in Destin, South Walton and Panama City Beach.

If you live in a Destin long term rental, the place to be is HarborWalk Village on February 7 at 2pm. There you can enjoy a festive parade complete with beads and moon pies. Stop by on February 17, actual Fat Tuesday, for live entertainment and free red beans and rice. Speaking of good eats, Baytowne Wharf will be hosting their annual gumbo festival in time for Mardi Gras on February 13 from 2pm-5pm.

If you happen to live in a Panama City Beach home for rent, we recommend attending the Mardi Gras  and Music Festival happening at Pier Park. The event will take place on February 13 and 14, and will feature many fun activities for the family to enjoy. Live entertainments, multiple parades and even fireworks are included at this wonderful event. We hope to see you out along the coast. Let the good times roll this February!
