Concerts at The Landing this Spring

If you live in a Fort Walton Beach rental home, get ready to head outside and enjoy spring at the Landing. It’s time to kick off the second annual Concerts at the Landing event!

If you have lived in a home on the Emerald Coast for long then you have probably attend one or two local events at the Fort Walton Beach Landing. It’s a beautiful grassy area of town perfect for strolling, letting the kids play on the playground and taking in the views of the sound. It’s also a terrific place to kick back, relax with a beverage and listen to some of the communities best musicians!

Concerts at the Landing is back for a second season and begins May 1, 2015 before continuing every Friday evening from 6-8pm until the first week in July. This event is very laid back. So laid back, in fact, that you are encouraged to come out with your chairs and blankets to stake out a spot of choice, while also bringing your own food and beverages. You can even bring alcohol, as long as it is housed and consumed in plastic containers. Don’t want to pack your own? Food vendors will also be available onsite.

So, who will be hitting the stage this spring and summer? The first concert will feature Heritage, a definite local favorite. Other acts playing the series this year are Hotel Oscar, Continuum and the Forrest Williams Band, among others. See you at the Landing each Friday this May and June!
