Memorial Day Celebrations!

Memorial Day is the unofficial kickoff to summer here along the beach. And, if you live in a Gulf Coast rental home, we know you will want to get out and enjoy the beaches, as well as the awesome events in your community.

If you rent a home near Gulf Shores, head out to Gulf State Park for the 2nd annual luau. The performers take the stage at 5:30pm Saturday and there will be food and drinks to enjoy, as well. Or, sway to the sounds of great live music during LuLuPalooza, a family-friendly live music event happening on Saturday.

On the Emerald Coast, kickoff your weekend Friday evening with Concerts at the Landing on Friday at 6pm. Or, get your fix of live music during the HarborWalk Village Memorial Day Concerts on Saturday and Sunday near our home rentals in Destin. Be sure to stick around until 9pm Sunday evening for the fireworks over the harbor.

If you rent in South Walton, make your way to Baytowne Village for kids’ activities, concerts on the event stage and fireworks on Sunday at 9:15pm. On Monday, attend a special Veteran’s presentation to commemorate our local heroes at 5pm. No matter how you celebrate this weekend, we hope you have a safe and happy holiday!
