Pensacola Comic Convention
Get ready for some awesome cosplay at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, because it’s time for the Pensacola Comic Convention! This annual event is one of the biggest conventions of the year. If you are staying in a long-term rental in Pensacola and are looking or awesome ways to meet new people, you definitely want to check out Pensacola Comic Con.
The Pensacola Comic Convention is held at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds from 10am-6pm on August 20 & 21, 2016. Put on your favorite costume before you go, because cash prizes for the best costume will be each day at 2pm. This is your chance to meet some of your favorite science fiction characters from popular movies and TV Shows like Star Trek, Power Rangers, Highlander, Gremlins, and more! Also, don’t forget to get a picture with the Jurassic Park tour vehicle and the Mystery Machine van from Scooby-Doo!
If you can’t make it to the convention on Saturday and Sunday, don’t worry because downtown comes alive with cosplayers all weekend! The festivities start on Friday, the 19th, when you can watch a Live Ghost Investigation with the Ghost Asylum at the Victorian Inn, or attend The Sword Experience with Adrian Paul from Highlander at Pensacola’s Commerce Museum. Many downtown restaurants and bars also have comic book and sci-fi themed specials all weekend!
If you just moved to the area and are staying in a long-term rental in Pensacola, then head downtown on Friday and hit the Fairgrounds this weekend, because this is a party you don’t want to miss!
