Pensacola International Billfish Tournament

Take a break from hunting for the perfect Pensacola real estate and head down to the Pensacola International Billfish Tournament. Hosted by the Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club, the tournament has grown to be one of the best in the area!

The International Billfish Tournament has been a tradition in Pensacola since 1970 and has had over 22,000 anglers participate. They want you to bring your family and join in on the fun! The event starts on June 29, 2016 and ends on July 3, 2016. The boats leave the docks at 4 PM on Thursday and the weigh-ins start at 5 PM on Friday.

If you are unable to participate in the tournament as a fisherman, come be a spectator and watch what the boats bring in. There will also be weigh-ins on Saturday at 3 PM. All of the tournament events are taking place at the Palafox Pier and are free to the public. Your kids will love watching the boats haul in giant fish to see who will win the top prizes.

There will be thousands of cash awards handed out during the tournament! Awards, including the Vince Whibbs Big Blue Award, Top small boat, Top Friday boat, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, will be given out and payouts will go to the biggest Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo caught in the tournament.
