Summer Events in South Walton!

School’s out for summer! The kids are rejoicing, but you may be panicking on how to keep them entertained during these long days. If you rent a home in South Walton, don’t worry. You will find plenty of kid-friendly things to do on 30A!

Scenic 30A and South Walton are packed with things to do year-round, but summer is an especially wonderful time to live here. While many of the summer events take place in the evening, you will also find many things to do during the day, such as explore the shops of each community, attend farmer’s markets in locations such as Rosemary Beach and, of course, hit the beach.

But, if you need to entertain the kids in the afternoon of evenings, there are some key locations you will want to visit near your South Walton long term home rental. For instance, the Village of Baytowne Wharf. The event plaza begins to buzz with activity every evening at about 7PM. Each night offers a different activity, such as Sunday Cinema, Boomin’ Tuesday’s which feature fireworks and the Wednesday Night Concert Series, just to name a few.

If you prefer to hang out on 30A, visiting communities such as Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Seaside and Gulf Place will yield fun results. Whether you’re seeking a night at the theater for improv or a kids play, want to catch live music, or would like to lay under the stars while you watch a classic flick, you can do that in these communities. We personally recommend visiting the REP Theater in Seaside and the Alys Beach Concert Series.
