Summer Events in South Walton!

One thing is for sure when renting a home in South Walton, you will never be bored. That is especially true in the summer time when the area becomes busy with seasonal visitors and events!

One of the best things to check out during your time in South Walton are the weekly farmers’ markets and produce stands, many of which operate all year long. The most well-known local market to explore is without a doubt the Seaside Farmers’ Market. Taking place every Saturday morning in the center of town, this market is known for produce, as well as locally produced dairy, honey, gifts and more. Additional Saturday markets in the area include the Grand Boulevard Market located on Highway 98. On Sundays, hop on your bike and explore the stands in Rosemary Beach, Gulf Place and Watercolor.

If you love live music, be sure to check out the weekly local concerts, as well. Oh, and family-friendly movie nights are also always a hit during the summer. For concerts, visit Watercolor on Mondays at 6pm or Baytowne Wharf on Tuesday evenings, where you will also be treated to fireworks at 9pm.
