Attend the Destin Seafood Festival

If you rent a Destin home with us, or even if you live in a nearby Fort Walton Beach rental, be sure to hit the docks of Destin this weekend for the annual seafood festival. You don’t want to miss the live music, vendors, and yes, delicious food!

The Destin Seafood Festival kicks off today and does into the evening each night. This three day event will primarily take place at HarborWalk Village but the entire dock will be celebrating, right down to AJ’s Seafood. There, in addition to enjoying music from three stages, where you can also watch the daily weigh-ins of the Destin Fishing Rodeo.

If you love live music, be sure to come early and groove all night. Some of our favorite local and regional musicians will be performing on three stages at HarborWalk, including Heritage, Chronic Jester and Boukou Groove. Want to come our and bring the kids? Be sure to take them down to the fun zone at Heron Harbor, the East Pass Marina or HarborWalk to enjoy festive events and activities.

Oh, and during all of this, don’t forget to check out the seafood cooked in a variety of ways including fried, grilled and blackened. Both local and regional cooks will be cooking each day, so get ready to experience new flavors as well as old favorites. We hope to see everyone out along the docks of Destin this weekend.
