Blue Marlin Grand Championship in Orange Beach

The Blue Marlin Grand Championship takes place from July 13, 2016 to July 17, 2016, and is held at the Wharf in Orange Beach. With over 50 boats registered you can expect to see some pretty big fish brought in! The welcoming party for fisherman is July 13, 2016, to prepare them to leave the docks at 11 AM the next day. The first weigh-in is scheduled for July 15, 2016 at 7 PM. The second weigh-in is held on Saturday and will be broadcasted on television. There will be activities for your family to enjoy throughout the whole tournament, including the Miss Billfish Contest, live music and boat shows.

The tournament is broadcast on live, local TV, worldwide online streaming, jumbotrons and light shows, so it is considered “The Greatest Show in Sportsfishing.” They work hard to include as many people as possible in this one of a kind event, and they want you and your family to be a part of the fun.

Dierks Bentley will be making an appearance on Sunday at 7 PM to close the tournament. He will bring his Somewhere on a Beach Tour to the Wharf for you to enjoy. There will also be special performances from Randy Houser and Cam & Tucker Beathard.
