Fall In Love With Alabama Living

Fall is a perfect time of the year along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. The weather is undeniably pretty and ideal for Alabama living. While we may not get the true color changes typically associated with fall, our area comes alive with fun events and things to do outdoors.

For instance, Orange Beach hosts the upcoming The Wharf Uncorked Wine & Culinary Event September 14 -16, 2017. Raising funds for Make-A-Wish Alabama, this three-day event offers tastings of delicious food and wine. And, it does it with a Southern flare. Who could not love that?

Another Fall event that showcases the south and the coastal area is the 46th Annual National Shrimp Festival. A four-day event staring October 12th, it attracts over 300,000 folks to Gulf Shores.

The beach is not the only place that takes advantage of the incredible weather with events. Daphne, for example, hosts the 29th Annual Jubilee Festival of Arts on September 23rd -24th. An Eastern Shore tradition, this festival takes place in Olde Towne Daphne.

Along with the festivals, don’t forget that this area is a sportsman’s paradise with year-round golfing, boating and fishing. Ecotourism tours and dolphins at sunset kayak tours abound.  Don’t forget the  farmers’ markets and live outdoor concerts, too.

Visitors and locals alike take advantage of these community events that are so close to one another. You, too, can be a part of these delightful communities, but don’t limit yourself to this season.

Southern offers some wonderful opportunities to experience this type of Alabama living year-round. Search our homes for rent in Alabama communities including Foley, Fairhope, Daphne, Loxley and closer to shore in Orange Beach.
