Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo

Are you staying in a long term rental in Pensacola? Then hop on a boat and participate in the Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo!

The Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo starts on June 10, 2016 and continues until June 12, 2016. These summer days are packed full of fun and fishing on the Gulf Coast. The Flora-Bama Yacht Club, located across from the world famous Flora-Bama Lounge and Package store, is hosting the tournament.

We encourage you to join in on the fun and fish the tournament, but if you are unable to then you can still come out to watch the weigh-ins. The weigh-ins are free and open to the public, and the weigh-in station hours are 12 PM to 7 PM on Friday and Saturday.

The opportunities are endless when fishing in this tournament! There are 38 different categories including King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Ladyfish, and Swordfish. There are also multiple divisions, including a kids division. The tournament has put together prize packages that will go to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category. Prize packages are expected to include items such as gift cards, a grill set, membership card and many other great items.

The tournament is giving a portion of the ticket sales to Operation ReConnect, a non-profit organization geared to providing combat veterans with well-deserved family vacations.

The Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo is considered the “funnest” fishing tournament on the Gulf Coast, so make sure you are a part of it!
