Handy Tips: Fixing The Toilet!

It’s not a subject many of us like to discuss, but sometimes the toilet backs up. And, if you’re like this renter, the first time it happens it can cause a lot of panic if you don’t know what to do!

Now I, of couse, knew I needed to get the plunger but, frankly, I wasn’t all that effective in using it. I was definitely unaware that step number 1 should be to flip the rubber stopper in the bottom of the tank, after removing the lid, to stop the flow of water. The next stop involves grabbing that plunger and getting to work!
