Navarre Beach Fishing Rodeo
If you are enjoying a long-term rental in Navarre Beach then you know it’s time for the Navarre Beach Fishing Rodeo on October 1st and 2nd, 2016! Walk the Navarre Beach Pier for free to see the daily weigh-ins or sign-up to participate in the tournament! You can fish from the pier, a boat, or even a kayak! However you want to reel that big fish in is up to you. The anglers are competing for more than $15,000 in cash and prizes, and everyone gets a captain’s bag full of awesome Mojo swag!
Divisions for 2016 include Open, Half-Hitch Kayak, Junior, Offshore, Inshore, Lion Fish, and a mystery fish category! Proceeds from the Navarre Beach Fishing Rodeo will benefit the Navarre Beach Marine Park including the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, the Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary, the Marine Science Station, Heroes on the Water, and Take a Kid Fishing.
Come out for this fun event and support a great cause! Weigh-ins take place at Juana Pagodas daily. While you are there, Juana’s Octoberfest Beer Tasting is on October 1st, so you can taste beers from all over the world and enjoy some interesting marine life exhibits. Just $20 gets you unlimited beer samples from noon – 4pm.
