The Scallop Festival in Port St. Joe

If you have rented a home on the Forgotten Coast for long then you know how much this area prides itself on scallops. Not only do we locals enjoy diving for them, but also eating them. We even plan a fabulous festival to celebrate them. This is, after all, one of the few places you can find these mouthwatering mollusks!

The Scallop Festival in Port St. Joe will take place in September 12-13 and will welcome many great musicians including popular local group, Dread Clampitt. Come prepared to shop the arts and crafts vendors, exhibits and, of course, buy some delicious scallops! Bring your cooler and purchase scallops to take back for dinner at your Gulf Coast home rental or sample them prepared many different ways right on site!
