Update: Go Southern Sponsored Primrose

The Go Southern family of companies is a proud sponsor of the Primrose fishing vessel and the renovation it is currently receiving. A member of Destin’s original fishing fleet, this local piece of history is steadily coming back to life!

If you are renting a home in Destin currently, especially near downtown, take a detour from your usual path to check out the work being done. The Primrose is currently housed across the street from the Destin History and Fishing Museum near the Destin Community Center.

This 1925 wooden vessel has been undergoing rehabilitation sense early last month and will soon be completed and enjoying it’s new home in a historical park being designed and constructed by D.A.G Construction. While you can visit it anytime, the official dedication will take place during the Destin Founder’s Day Celebration taking place in May 2015!
