Valentine’s Day Events Along the Gulf Coast

GS-40

Holidays are easily enjoyed when you rent a Gulf Coast home. Thanks to our seasonal visitors, many of the areas best restaurants and venues host great events all year long. Now that you’re a local, you can get out and enjoy them too!

Even Valentine’s Day is a big deal along the shores of Coastal Alabama and the beaches of Northwest Florida. Whether you live in a long term rental in Gulf Shores or clear across the coast in Scenic 30A, you will find something exciting to do with your sweetie. While you can certainly hit up your favorite local restaurant or drop the kids with the sitter to go enjoy a movie, there are a few more exciting events you may want to check out.

If you indeed live in a home in Gulf Shores or rent in Orange Beach, LuLu’s on Homeport Marina is where you want to be on Saturday, February 13, 2016. If you’re married, that is, because they will be hosting their annual Tropical Re-Union. This is a group vow renewal and will be officiated by Hurricane Jane, a local Parrot Head and ordained minister. Be sure to register online so that LuLu’s ensures they have enough flowers, cake and champagne to go around. Want to attend but you live in Destin? Hit up your local LuLu’s at 2PM on February 14, 2016 instead.

If good eats are what you and your sweetie are interested in this Valentine’s Day, and you happen to rent a downtown Pensacola home, visit one of the Great Southern Restaurants! The Fish House and Jackson’s Steakhouse will be serving delicious specialty menus. Reservations are recommended. Or, if you love a good party along with great gumbo, surprise your honey with tickets to the annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival!
