Holiday Events in Destin
Join us near your Destin rental home this weekend for many festive holiday events! Whether you prefer to cheer Santa to town during the parade or enjoy a cozy lunch cruise with the man in red, you can experience it December 14, 2013.
This is the weekend for Destin holiday events. The runners in the family will want to make their way quickly to Fort Walton Beach for the Jingle Bell Jog 5K at Uptown Station at 8AM. After the finish, though, we know they will be lining the streets watching as Santa comes to town during the Destin Christmas Parade at 10AM, beginning at Old Time Pottery. If lunch, and a boat cruise, are more your speed, make your way onboard the Solaris. They will be hosting their Cruisin’ with Santa event at 11:15AM. Enjoy 2 hours, a delicious lunch and a little one-on-one with the big guy.
On December 15, make your way down to the harbor for the Destin Lighted Boat Parade! Line the docks to watch as some of the area’s best charter and community boats make their way down the harbor in a spectacular display.
