Moving into a new home is always a daunting task. Where do you begin? Where does all your stuff go? First, we suggest putting each box in its corresponding room and then just go for it. Second, unpack and do so in a timely manner! Nothing says “I just moved in” like miscellaneous boxes throughout your home, and you don’t want your new rental home to say that for long, do you?
Next, celebrate! Not only have you rented a great place but you have made it look great, too, so invite people over for a housewarming party. A celebration in your home with friends and family will certainly make your space feel a bit warmer. While this rental may be feeling a bit more like a home adding a few personal, but not permanent, touches will also help. Dress up your porch or pot a few plants and, most importantly, enjoy your new home!
