New Years Eve Events on the Gulf Coast

Santa may be coming to town, but once he leaves, it’s time to decide where you would like to welcome the new year. We have a few suggestions, each taking place near your Gulf Coast long term home rental.

Do you rent a home in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach? You won’t want to miss the street party at The Wharf. Offering many attractions, such as the Ferris Wheel, ice skating rink and more rides, this family-friendly celebration culminates in the Marlin Drop and fireworks. Looking for a more adult evening out? Head to the Flora-Bama Lounge for a champagne toast, or near our Pensacola rentals, watch the Pelican Drop after grabbing a drink in downtown.

In Destin or near Fort Walton Beach, during the day, party with the kids at LuLu’s Destin’s Noon Years Eve party, beginning at 10AM. Enjoy family activities before the kids’ ball drop at noon. Later that evening, the place to be is HarborWalk Village for their annual party. Watch the ball drop along the harbor before the fireworks light up the sky. South Walton will be partying at the Village of Baytowne Wharf before their spectacular fireworks over the lagoon or on the shores of Seaside on 30A for their beach fireworks.
