If you live in a Port St. Joe long term rental then we hope you have heard of and/or visited the twice monthly SaltAir Farmers’ Market. If not, we encourage you to bundle up and stop by this weekend.

So, why should you visit this local farmers’ market? First, it’s a great way to discover and support local growers and makers. And, what a delicious discovery it will be! Locally grown veggies and fruits are widely available, but so are homemade jellies, jams, breads and more. You will even find locally raised meat and dairy products during most of the year!

Second, it’s a great time! In addition to chatting with the vendors, many of whom also offer homemade crafts, gifts and jewelry, there is also usually live entertainment at the pavilion. You can enjoy this market throughout the year on the first and third Saturday’s of each month. It takes place at Commons Park at the end of Reid Avenue in downtown. We hope to see you out this weekend, but also during the annual holiday market on December 6, 2014!
